When on the search for a registered agent service to complete your corporation or LLC formation, you have two basic options. You will end up selecting between national and local operators.
Providers that operate nationwide usually have a solid brand power and market reputation behind them and can get you set in any state. State-specific companies, on the other hand, have better knowledge of local laws and regulations going for them.
If you set up a legal entity in the state of Texas and look for a decent local service to handle the service of process for your business, our Texan LLC review is for you.
When choosing an assistant service to help you with sensitive business-related issues, you want to rest assured you’ll have a reliable partner on your side. Since local companies are less advertised and there is less hype around them, they often look less trustworthy. Meanwhile, in each state, there is an internal agent service company that stands strong and holds the lead among local competitors.
In Texas, this company is Texan. Texan Registered Agent LLC is by far the most popular commercial representative service in that area. Founded in 2015, it is considered to be a relatively “young” market player. At the same time, it has been on the market long enough to gain extensive expertise, refine its skill, and show itself as a professional service you can trust.
Yet another factor that contributes to Texan's credibility is customer feedback. Unlike many other small-scale providers, Texan reviews pop up on Google, Facebook, and Yelp. They don’t come in numbers, yet you’ll find a few dozens of online comments. Most of them are positive and result in a higher than average rating for Texan, which is 4.5 out of 5.
Operating from Austin, which is one of the five biggest cities in Texas, Texan provides its services only across the state. As such, it’s a good choice for startuppers, private firms, and smaller companies transacting their business within the borders of Texas.
Started as a statutory agent service and still having this activity at the core of its business, Texan is more than just a representative agent service. Backed by years of experience and well aware of all the regulatory nuances of the local law, Texan can cater to many of your business formation needs in Texas.
Along with the representative agent service, the company has formation, incorporation, mail forwarding, and virtual office services on its list as well as a few compliance service options. Besides, Texan’s website is a valuable information resource where you can find free-of-charge guides, articles, and useful links that will help you set up your business on the right foot and duly maintain it.
Most often than not, local providers come up with more affordable and budget-friendly prices. That might vary by the company, of course. Yet, that’s true for Texan. Its pricing strategy really sticks to an affordable side without compromising the service quality and scope. See for yourself.
The agent service is the Texan’s main claim to fame. The firm was established as a Texas representative service provider and tailored this service to perfection.
An annual subscription with Texan costs only $35. There is no national operator that will offer a price that low. Nationwide services start from about $100 per annum. And once you take a look at the scope of service you’ll get for the price, you’ll see that Texan is a real bargain:
Texan’s agent service is complete and comprehensive. It ensures everything you expect and even more to duly maintain your business mailing and compliance needs in Texas.
Along with the representative service, Texan has filing services on its list. The company can help you form an LLC or corporation from scratch in Texas at $445. At a glance, the price is pretty high. However, it already embraces a compulsory state filing fee of $310 and an annual agent’s subscription at $35. So, the formation rate itself is $100, which is more than a competitive price, especially given what it covers above the filing service:
Other options on the Texan’s service menu include mail forwarding and virtual office. Within the mail forwarding service, Texan will handle all your business mail and make document scans instantly available to you via your online account. The company offers a variety of mail forwarding options and combinations with other services that start at $100 per year.
A virtual office will ensure a physical business address and secure administrative support for your Texas company, which is a great choice for online and home-run businesses. The service comes at $60 per month.

Texan Registered Agent LLC is very responsive and courteous in every dealing I have had with them over the years. I have several entities I have used Texan Registered Agent LLC for, for many years and I will be adding several more entities with this very professional company over the next two months.
Thank you Brooke and Texan Registered Agent LLC!
This is my first experience with an LLC, and I couldn't be more pleased that I had the good fortune to have chosen Texan Registered Agent! Brooke Bailey is truly an asset to this company. Very professional, helpful, courteous, patient. Brooke is definitely a can-do person with extraordinary expertise. Thank you!
I really appreciate your speedy work. Thanks a lot
I have had contact problems with Texas Comptroller.
Texan Registered Agent LLC have responded immediately to my emails for help! They even offered me their phone number and times to phone internationally...which mostly is overnight!
It has been great having their support.
Thank you Kevin, Brooke Gabby and all who have been very helpful during this awkward time!!!
The service should be improved cz some mails are delivered as package but they actually are flat envelopes. They should have a proper system for identification. Lots of my clients got their Amazon Postcards rejected. I bought unique business address service for all of them.
Edit: They acted to my complaint. It was quick. And they assured that such an issue will not happen again. I used pretty harsh words with them which I do regret. Thanks Texan Registered Agent team.
Poor customer service. I specifically used this to not receive business mail at my home address and it still happened, yet they blamed me. Waste of money. Total scam. I did not understand everything and even had them walk me through every form to fill out, asking multiple questions. Obviously I'm not the only one who doesn't know what they're doing and thought I was paying for proper guidance.
Have been using this service for 2 years. Their prices are low but their services are high standard. VERY pleasant and always respond quickly and do whatever they can to be supportive. Highly recommend.
